Movie Trailer Critique

P3T7 Cat-astrophe in Litterville from Kapaa Middle School MEDIA on Vimeo.
The movie trailer assignment was about creating a trailer intended for a first grade audience and we can make it on a existing movie or you're own made up movie and make a trailer. Me, Michael, Tyler, and Kaz's trailer was called Catman: CATastrophe In Litterville. The characters were Catman and Professor H2O (Villain). The story takes place in Catlandia specifically Litterville and Professor H2O is planning to flood the town from underwater. Are voice script had a little bit of comedy in the middle and in the voice.

Some of the requirement were the 5 scenes, 1:30m long, Dialogue, Movie poster, Audience, Foley and Effects. For the 5 scenes it was no problem because we had about 7 scenes so that wasn't much of a big problem. 1:30 minutes long requirement was probably the hardest requirement because we had 1:15 and we had nothing else to film, so we filled in the space with our movie poster, text layovers and dialogue. Dialogue was a requirement I kind of ignored until the end when we had to put it in to meet the requirement of the time. The movie poster was included to meet the timing requirement too, effects were added in as transitions. Our audience matched perfectly for 1st graders because of childish fantasy that was in it.

Our critique results were average and the part where we were graded for audience was all fours. I honestly think we deserved more because we had all the requirement and even more and it made sense. I think we should of at least got second place because our shots were funny the music  and audio and general was perfect. Are voiceovers also matched the b-roll perfectly and were focused. I think we should of gotten a better grade on our project over all.
